Work
Products I build and run, the infrastructure I've worked on at IOTA, Bitfinity Network, and Tideblock, and my open-source tools. If you need something similar built, see consulting.
Products
I build and operate both through Shariff Consultancy.
- Shipzen
A shop-and-ship service for Kenya. Customers buy from stores in the USA, Europe, China, and the UK, and Shipzen consolidates their packages and delivers them by air or sea, with upfront pricing and tracking from checkout to doorstep.
I designed and built the whole platform and run it in production: the storefront and customer accounts, M-Pesa checkout, shipment tracking, and the email updates customers get along the way.

- PrismPOS
An all-in-one platform for small businesses: point of sale, inventory, payments, accounting, customers, and online stores in one connected system, so a shop doesn't juggle separate tools.
I designed and built it as a multi-tenant platform where each business gets its own workspace. Beyond the till it covers inventory across warehouses, purchasing, finance, payroll, and reporting.

At IOTA
- IOTA Notarization Toolkit
I lead notarization, audit trails, and proof of inclusion: Rust libraries for anchoring data on the IOTA ledger and proving it was included, with WebAssembly bindings for TypeScript developers.
- IOTA Hierarchies
Hierarchical trust networks on IOTA, where organisations delegate accreditation and attestation rights across levels. I work on the Rust library and its WebAssembly bindings.
Earlier work
- Bitfinity EVM execution client
At Bitfinity Network, I worked on their Rust execution client, a fork of reth that syncs blocks from the Bitfinity EVM: JSON-RPC endpoints, a read-only mode, and redundancy across upstream sources.
- BitFusion SDK
Bitfinity's bridges between EVM networks, Bitcoin, and Bitcoin Runes, built on threshold cryptography. I worked on the Runes bridge and its indexer consensus, and moved contract deployment to Foundry scripts.
Tideblock
At Tideblock, I designed low-latency Solana RPC infrastructure with request routing and automatic failover.
Open source
- rust-feature-toggler
A VS Code extension for turning a Rust project's feature flags on and off from the status bar or command palette.
